Camel Cricket

The Camel Cricket is also known as a Cave cricket or a Spider Cricket. Most are found in caves, animal burrows, cellars, under stones, or in similar environments.

They are also found in many (non-protected by U.S. Pest YET!) garages, and they hop and crawl their way into living rooms and bedrooms of unsuspecting home-owners. They have very large towering hind legs that are more scary than harmful. They are brownish in color and rather humpbacked in appearance, always wingless, and up to two inches/5 cm long in body and an amazing 10 cm (4 inches ) for the legs.
