How EcoSMART's products only target insects, not people or pets:

While octopamine is a neurotransmitter receptor found in insects, this receptor site doesn't exist in mammals, so EcoSMART's active ingredient does not target them. In fact, many of the plant oils used in EcoSMART's active ingredient are classified as Generally Regarded As Safe ("GRAS") and/or have been approved for food and beverage consumption by the U.S. FDA.
