• Monomorphic
• 1/32 inch long, very small ant
• Uneven thorax
• 12 segments of antenna
• Antenna enlarges to tip
• No circle of hairs on tip of abdomen
• Head and thorax dark, abdomen and legs are pale

Distribution

• Primarily found outdoors, hard to find due to size
• Nests in trees, dead limbs, under and inside logs, firewood, under rocks and plant cavities
• Kitchen cabinets, and bathroom vanities -- attracted to high moisture areas
• Wall voids, electrical outlets, and sinks
