U.S. Pest Protection has been serving Middle Tennessee for over 23 years. U.S. Pest is an innovator and leader in the pest prevention industry. While other companies were following the herd, U.S. Pest began using EcoSMART products 15 years ago before the "BIG GREEN BULGE". Having the vision and foresight to be ahead of the curve, we believe in protecting our customers, through research and development and utilization of newer and safer technologies. That is what makes U.S. Pest stand out among the crowd. Our goal is to provide safer pest prevention using products derived from EcoSMART Botanicals. Plant oils, which are “Generally Recognized As Safe” (GRAS). EcoSMART is the modern pioneer of organic pest control. For example U.S. Pest has now gone to not printing e-mails, and through other practices we have reduced our paper usage by a very large percentage. How We Started

U.S. Pest Protection was founded in 1985 in Hendersonville Tennessee by Sam and Sheryl Peden. Sam Peden, had been in the pest control business for 25 years before venturing out on his own. Having lived in Hendersonville since 1974, Sam and Sheryl foresaw the growth potential of Sumner County and Hendersonville. Today U.S. Pest Protection is a household name. With the success of the Hendersonville Service Center, U.S. Pest opened a second service center in Nashville in March, 2000. U.S. Pest Protection now serves over 13 counties, and has plans to grow to East and West Tennessee, and in the near future branch into the surrounding states.

Our Services

U.S. Pest provides residential Pest Prevention and Control, serving the needs of homes and businesses in middle Tennessee. We also provide Pre-construction soil treatments for the prevention of termites for comercial and residential builders. Many major builders such as Ernst, and the Jones company, use U.S. Pest for their termite soil treatments.

Sam Peden, along with his daughter Erica Brister, her husband Josh Brister, and CEO Leonard Arrant, are carving out the future of U.S. Pest.... With Sam's experiance and history in the pest control industry, He brings the wisdom and knowledge of 50 years of results that are a legacy to be proud of. Leonard has over 30 years in this industry, the know how, patience, and experience of building multi-million dollar companies, and is excited about working with Josh and Erica to take U.S. Pest to the next level. Josh and Erica have the experience, passion and vision that are forged in the "New Age" of business, and sales of the 21st centery, and a management style rooted in the "New Tech" world we live in today. Josh and Erica along with the CEO Leonard Arrant have the drive and a no fear attitude that is breathing new life, energy, and freedom of expression into U.S. Pest. Josh, Erica, and Leonard are the spearhead, into the heart of the old and outdated practices of the pest control industry. The principles and truths Josh, Erica, and Leonard live by, like Honesty, integrity, ethics, and commitment not only to our customers but to the amazing employee's at U.S. Pest, are having such a positive impact, they are going to change how business is done in our industry.

Our Communities

U.S. Pest Protection is a member of all local chapter's of the Chamber of Commerce, including Nashville, Franklin, Williamson, Gallatin, and Hendersonville Chambers. U.S. Pest is dedicated to the principle " The givers are the truly succesful". We will be contributing to the community and the state in a host of new ways in the near future..... such as supporting our troops and their mission through various charities and organizations, helping the veterans in whatever way we can for the price they have paid for our freedom, donating to St. Judes childrens research foundation (children are the future), and the United Way, and also by being active in government, local and Federal.
