When do termites swarm in Middle Tennessee?
Most swarms happen in spring, usually on warm days after a rain. Seeing swarmers inside your home usually means a colony is nearby.
What’s the difference between your two warranties?
The retreatment warranty covers retreatment at no extra cost if termites return. The retreatment and repair warranty also covers repairs to new termite damage. Both stay active with an annual inspection.
Does homeowner’s insurance cover termite damage?
Usually not. Most policies treat termite damage as preventable maintenance, which is why a termite warranty matters. Check your own policy to be sure.
Do I need to leave my home during treatment?
No. Most treatment happens outside, around your foundation. If we need to drill through a slab or porch, we’ll tell you ahead of time and explain any steps to take, like keeping pets away from treated areas until they dry.
How long does termite treatment last?
Termidor is designed for long-lasting protection in the soil. Your warranty stays active as long as you keep your annual inspection, so you’re covered either way. However, we do recommend a re-treatment every 7-10 years.
